Collaboration.

Community.

Knowledge.

Connecting people, sharing ideas, and experimenting across the human rights ecosystem for a more democratic and just world.

WHO WE ARE

We are a community of rights actors who believe the human rights ecosystem needs tending. We aim to engage with the activists doing this work, understand their concerns and priorities, and foster opportunities for peer learning and exchange. Together, we can help build the infrastructure that will sustain rights activism into the future.

WHAT WE DO

We map knowledge and resources, foster peer learning and experimentation, and connect across rights communities to help the human rights ecosystem thrive.

ILLUMINATE

We map our shared ecosystem to deepen collective knowledge of our needs, networks, and direction and to inform our strategies and approaches.

INNOVATE

We design and facilitate spaces for learning and experimenting where rights actors can reflect, test, and adapt.

COLLABORATE

We foster connective infrastructure that allows rights movements to function, collaborate, and renew themselves.

OUR PROJECTS

Working together to find new pathways

Medusa

Nurturing infrastructure at the intersection of movements

The Medusa Project works at the intersections and margins of rights movements, where struggles converge and generative thinking emerges, building resilience and connective infrastructure at a moment when the structures that have upheld human rights are under profound stress.

MAP

Fostering experimentation and shared insight in the human rights ecosystem

The Mapping Adaptation Project (MAP) convenes rights actors ready to adapt and innovate, building momentum for experimentation, collective analysis, and peer exchange across rights fields and spaces.
